This morning, I took the bus and went shopping at the Delicia supermarket near Tobu Elementary School. It was a little cold outside, but the weather was fine. The reservoir behind the bus stop had been drained and was overgrown with dry grass, but on the remote mountain I could see small white magnolia conus flowers blooming like fine dots. In Nagano Prefecture, Kobushi is the first flower that announces spring.

After returning home, I continued yesterday’s drawing, but today it is still unfinished.

I feel that the freshness is lost when I draw with the same material several times in a row. Starting tomorrow, I’m thinking of using a different material, such as a pencil sketch.
